Surf lifesaving activities first commenced at Kingston Beach in 1994. Today, we are a family friendly club that has grown to over 400 members. We have a thriving junior nippers program, a strong patrolling presence providing water safety to Kingborough and we have strong surf sports training groups that train all year around. As well as our member focus, we also offer many outreach programs to the community, including: Starfish Nippers, community first aid, Silver Salties, lifeguarding for schools and inclusive access at the beach.
In order to become a patrolling member of Kingston Beach, it is first necessary to join the Kingston Beach SLSC.
Within the Surf Life Saving Organisation there are a number of awards which can be attained through training courses.
Surf Sports give all Surf Life Saving Youth and Masters the opportunity to develop their lifesaving skills in a safe, fun and competitive environment.
